Obtain parental permission to submit their child's name to the project list. You must report to Lion Bob Stanley, a10rws@aol.com, the statistics of the child, age, location, nature of illness, prognosis of illness and certify that you have parental permission. Lion Bob will then determine if this child's name will be put on the list. If "your" child is chosen to be on the list. You MUST remain in constant contact with Lion Bob by E-mail, a10rws@aol.com, keeping him posted on medical and emotional conditions of "your child" (Usually every three months). And the most difficult part of sponsoring a child is .. you must immediately report to Lion Bob the passing of your child, a10rws@aol.com. You must never abandon your child or their families. 2) As a member of the Lions Community that send post cards to these children. Contact Lion Bob Stanley at, a10rws@aol.com. inform him of your Club Name and District. And your email address. Lion Bob will then send you an email with the "rules" to participate in the project. You will be sent updated lists of children and their families needing your support. Any correspondence received from these children and their families will be shared with you. Or, ask to be put on the distribution list of LionNet-News, and you will receive the updated list and all Post Card Project information automatically. IMPORTANT NOTICE ! It is imperative that you understand, when you choose to participate in the postcard project, the list of children's names is strictly confidential. It can never be published on Bulle tin Boards, or anywhere open to the public. It is sad to say but there are unscrupulous individuals in this world who will send unsuitable items to any address they can find.
